The Importance of Being Shane
What can you say about Shane that hasn’t already been said about George Clooney, Joe Montana, Mother Teresa, Gene Rayburn, Joseph Stalin, Topher Grace, Anita Baker and a few other random cultural difference makers that I could add to the list if I sat here and thought about it for a few more minutes. Almost nothing. Shane is a musician, an athlete, a scholar, a mentor, a sex symbol, a husband, a father, a son, a cousin, an in-law, and above all an outlaw.
Anyway. I’m not totally sure where I am going with this, but the point is: Shane is a pretty great guy, and he’s infinitely nicer than he’d like you to believe. Sure, he may call you a fuckface a time or two, but that’s just the love talking. He’s one of the good ones.
Happy birthday, Shane! I hope the stripper cake thing worked out.
